A Song for the Weekend...

Hey Everyone,

I'm so glad it's finally the weekend! I'm

very excited because on Sunday I will be going to 

The Breakfast Club cafe with a few of my friends.

I've never been before but I have heard that 

their breakfasts are legendary!!

So hopefully you'll be seeing some photos 

of that soon enough.

But for now, I'd like to tell you about a 

song I have been listening to for the past week 

or so, it's extremely delicate and precious to

me. It tells the story of three generation of men.

Each single for a different purpose based on the 

society they are growing up in. 

And without

further ado, this is "Blood" by The Middle East.

This Week......

Hi Guys,

I hope your week has been good so far, I bet

you're looking forward to the weekend already?!

This post is about my week so far. First, who's

excited for new The Fault In Our Stars movie??

I say this because today, John Green has 
released the official trailer! 

Here it is!

Next, I have found this amazing (and I mean 

AMAZING) artist called MØ. She's one of 

the coolest pop stars around, originally from 

Denmark this super trendy girl is a singer and 

song writer releasing her debut single. 

And this is it; "Don't Wanna Dance"

I have recently started the book Divergent (yes, I know I'm behind the trend!), which is really good so far. 

In case you don't know, here is an extract of the 

description for the book by Veronica Roth, 

the author of the series:

This singer has a soft, R&B inspired voice, 

if you enjoy Lorde and Lana Del Ray, then this 

is definitely one for you. As well as having a 

stunning voice, she has also featured on many 

magazine front pages for her dark, mystical 

beauty. This is her new song "Waiting Game".

Amber Run

This band are relatively new and unheard 

of, I found them a few months back with their 

song "Noah". Their music is filled with harmonies, 

soaring choruses and preppy beats. For the lovers

of Mumford & Sons,I guarantee you'll love them! 

This is their new single "Heaven".

Warpaint

Warpaint are an emerging band that are

lined up to play all the big festivals this

year (including Coachella!). This all girl

Indie Rock band are releasing their self-titled 

second album this year. So, here is their latest 

single "Love is to Die".

Luke Sital-Singh

He is an absolute star; Luke Sital-Singh 

has been compared to the likes of Ben Howard

and Jeff Buckley. His songs are filled with

slow melodies, beautiful lyrics and delicate 

notes. He is one to watch in the new year!

Minimalism

 Morning Everyone,

I know I haven't posted in eons but this is going to be a fresh start!

This Autumn, I'm looking at Minimalism; making basic and bright pieces of 

clothing into something spectacular!

Autumn is one of my favourite fashion seasons, it's full of splashes of colour, elegant dresses, glamorous jackets and coats and incredibly daring makeup! Speaking of which, this Autumn's biggest trend is going to be pencilled eyebrows and plum lipstick.

Here comes the sun.....

Well, well, well what do we have here?

It seems that the Sun has finally arrived!!!

Today, my post is all about the Perks of Summer,

 including top Reads, Styles and Tunes. 

To Start, try The Perks Of Being A Wallflower for a 

beautiful story that will change you forever.

 Or how about To Kill A Mocking bird for a classic 

story about truth?

This summer, I will most definitely be listening to Icona Pops's "I love it"! It's one of my favourite songs this year!
 I have also discovered Tom Odell, an amazing piano 
 playing artist. (I have added my favourite 
song of his; "Another Love". Enjoy!)

I'm trying to keep my summer style (as well as my make - up) fresh and breezy, adding a slight touch of toughness. Perhaps, a flowing white summer dress with a black leather jacket and chunky metallic eagle necklace. I like to call this style Preppy Grunge.
